Summary: As they regroup after the failed armistice, the L.A. resistance is asked by Philip to retrieve Diana's new test subject.

Notes: I wrote a number of "V" fanfiction stories in 1996-1997… but unfortunately, none of them were very good. This is the first of only two that I rewrote for the internet in 1999. They still aren't very good, but they represent a fairly significant part of my development as a writer, so here they are.
