Notes: As a great fan of Claude Rains, I have always loved his portrayal of Sir John Talbot. I was inspired once with thoughts of how the tragic ending of The Wolf Man might have turned out rather differently—and this story is the result.

Notes: Don’t take this one-shot too seriously. Sir John Talbot (from the 1941 horror film The Wolf Man) is an obscure crossover character I simply couldn’t resist amusing myself with, although his "extraordinary" quality seems none too original in LXG fiction. I don’t know if I will include him in any future stories, but if I do, they—like this one—should probably be considered an alternate-universe.
