Notes: This is my personal headcanon regarding Ou Yang’s father. I’ve had this idea about him ever since I first saw episode 5.5, and it was bolstered by his reappearance in season two. Given the effort such a hard-hearted character was willing to make to protect Lu Guang and his friends, I felt they must have forged even more of a connection than their brief on-screen interaction and the boys’ subsequent training with his son-in-law would suggest.

Summary: Christine could appreciate better than anyone what Stephen became, because she knew what he had been.

Notes: I wrote most of this story in 2017. In the years since I have soured on the MCU’s direction, but I still have a soft spot for Doctor Strange. In 2022 I was inspired to finish this after a rewatch of his original solo film, but somehow it took me another ten months to finalize and post it.
This fic fills the prompt “The Cost of Magic” at genprompt_bingo. Over the course of the movie, Stephen’s character arc from self-centeredness to self-sacrifice is really an amazing thing to behold. Christine’s perspective is ideal for examining just how dramatic that change is, considering she never got to see the actual steps of that long process.

A translation note: the word furugiya literally means “used clothing store”. As the name indicates, they are Japanese thrift stores dedicated to selling secondhand clothes.

( For Kuro Sakuragawa, encountering a new cashier at the local furugiya was always rather awkward. )

Notes: This fic was written (quite hurriedly) for the prompt of “Healing” at fan_flashworks—although I’ve wanted to write some version of this altered scene for a long time before now. It’s basically just a “how it should have ended” for the KotIF series, correcting the incredibly hurtful and needless narrative decisions that were inflicted upon Ikoma. As will probably be obvious if you’ve read my other KotIF stories, this has always been the preferred conclusion in my own headcanon. *g*

Notes: I’m quite sure “Tokyo 24^th Ward” is the smallest fandom I’ve ever written in, but I feel it offered so many intriguing ideas without really exploring them in truly satisfying ways. Here is an attempt to do so, envisioning what I would have liked to see for the future of RGB, while also picking up on some plot threads left frustratingly loose. It was submitted for the prompts of “Knife” at fan_flashworks, and “Renewal” at smallfandomflsh.
[This story is dedicated to the memory of voice actor Billy Kametz, who portrayed Shuta in the first six episodes of the series’ English dub (among many other characters beloved to me) before his life and legacy were tragically cut short by cancer at far too young an age.
